Have real passion for what you do

This is the most powerful message delivered by the chef in the movie. He simply has passion for cooking great food and he can stand up to anyone, sacrifice anything and spend every bit of his energy towards it.

Good relationships in work life help

As you show your passion in what you do and help people around you grow, you will find yourself with people like Martin who will just rally behind you without any doubts on where and what.

Jump start with a personal connect

Developing a personal connect with people can make them want to help you jump start your business, just like Martin calls his amigos for help.

Have a simple early marketing plan and stick to it

Percy might seem like a kid who knows about social media just like every other. But the key is he is regular, relentless and focussed on his way of marketing his product to the people using Twitter, Facebook and Vine.

Have faith on your employees

Carl lets Percy and Martin do everything when needed and still trust them with the output. Even if they do a mistake he just demonstrates his passion and the employee gets inspired automatically.

Criticism might be hard, but is an agent of change

Be open to critics and be ready to push yourself harder to innovate. Also if you really believe in your company stand up for it. As an investor, you should have faith on the entrepreneurs ideas to make an innovative company. Otherwise you exactly look like Dustin Hoffman in the movie(and its not a good thing)

Family matters

Sometimes devoting time to your family and bringing them closer to what you do might lead to surprising results. Your family is your most faithful employee any day.

Just do it

You will keep thinking that you are so amazing and you deserve better in life. You will be wondering how to make your best entrance music. But what really matters is to go out there in that trashy food truck that you started with, put your heart and soul into it and sell people what you love. They are gonna love it too.
